[RISE Camp Update] Day 2 Recap ⏮️

Day 2: Sin & Salvation

Dear Parents,

DAY 2 at Winter Camp was so good! 🙌 Today warmed up a ton and students enjoyed a bunch of free time – playing gaga ball, basketball, football, air hockey, pool, gel blasters, card games, and more!

The FOOD was great once again! I really think Pine Valley has some of the BEST camp food. For breakfast we had eggs, sausage, hash brows, and french toast. For lunch we had chicken sandwiches and fries. For dinner we had beef and pork BBQ (so good), mashed potatoes, veggies, and garlic bread! Plus, there is always a salad bar and desserts! Our MAD (Moms & Dads) Crew has also been awesome by providing us with HOT CHOCOLATE! Plus, plus, the snack shack and coffee shop were open today that the students loved. All that to say – we have been well fed!

We had 2 sessions today. This morning, Patrick Levis continued our series by focusing on SIN out of Romans 3:23. We are all sinners – each and every day we sin against a holy and righteous God! Then, this evening, Shawn Farrell continued our series by giving us the good news – salvation offered through Christ’s death and resurrection! Shawn unpacked Romans 5:8 and preached the incredible love of God! I am so thankful for the way Patrick and Shawn preached so clearly to our students today.
