[RISE Camp Update] First Night 🙌

Our first night has been INCREDIBLE!

Dear Parents,

Our first night has been incredible! I am so thankful to the Lord that all students arrived safe! Thank you so much for making the sacrifice to drive them down.

We started off with a GREAT dinner! BBQ Chicken, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, and bread rolls! 😋

I’m excited about our camp sermon series for the weekend! We are walking down the Romans Road to Salvation. Each night will unpack a key element of the gospel by using the book of Romans. Throughout the weekend, we will consider each part of this main sentence: Surrender to the God who gives sinners salvation to those who believe. Tonight I had the privilege of beginning the series by opening up to Romans 1:19-20. In this passage, we learned that God is evident and I posed the question: Is God Real, to you? It’s one thing to say God is real but it’s another thing to actually believe God is real. A genuine belief in His existence will be proven by how seriously our students take this weekend as they consider their relationship with God.

Also know that we have an incredibly gifted and kind doctor on campus the entire weekend: Dr. Mark Mueller (Chris Mueller’s brother)! So your students will be well taken care of!
