PARENT MEETING THIS SUNDAY!!!
A Word From Shayne
Hello Jr. High Parents,
There are some BIG CHANGES coming up in the Jr. High Ministry so we will be holding a quick PARENT MEETING this coming Sunday (March 21st) at MV in between services at 10:25am. We will be meeting in the spot right after you walk underneath the bridge at the bottom of the stairs but before you get to the back of the home bleachers (see picture below to see exactly where we will meet). If you are able, please to make sure to be there. You will want to hear about these big upcoming changes.
As always, we seek to thank and praise the Lord for all that happens. We are thankful for all this rain we have been getting in Southern California, but we are also thankful that it will be passing and gone for this coming Wednesday Night. This means that for this week we will be back at the Tracy Home!!! And in honor of our return to the Tracy Home, we will be holding another Gametras Event! These are super fun nights filled with fun competition and crazy activities. We will be breaking students up into teams and having them go through different challenges. The best performing team wins the night! And because this Wednesday also happens to be St. Patricks day, Gametras (or Green-tras) will be St. Patty's day themed so please make sure that your students wear green. The night begins at our regular time of 6:15pm and will end at our normal time of 8:15pm.
Also, we know that there are times that your students are unable to make it to our Wednesday and Sunday gatherings so we wanted to provide a way for your students to stay up to date with what we talk about. Some of our Jr. High students have graciously volunteered to take expert notes during the sermons. These notes will be gathered and then sent out with these parent letters so that even if your student was absent, they can follow along with our series (See below for the notes to our Doctrines of Grace series we just finished on Sundays). Keep an eye out for these each week.
Also, Mystery Night is fast approaching. Please read below for more details as well as where we will be meeting the night of. We are still looking for more drivers! If you are able, we would love for you to volunteer to drive the night of the event (Friday, March 26). Please email christina@faith-bible.net to sign up. In addition, tomorrow, Wednesday, March 17th, is the LAST DAY for the students to create or join a team for Mystery Night. Below we have included a picture of the form that the students can write out their teams. Feel free to print it out if your student doesn’t have a team yet, or see Christina this Wednesday or Sunday to get a copy.
We are looking forward to having so much fun with your students tomorrow!

Upcoming Events!
Mystery Night 2021!!!!
When: Friday, March 26th at 5PM
Where: Backlund’s House, 42942 Dawnwood St., Murrieta, CA 92562
What: Super Fun event where the students drive around with their teams and accomplish tasks at stations around town that are run by the Staff. Dinner provided at the Backlund’s before the competition begins. Please bring $10!
How: Please contact christina@faith-bible.net to sign up to be a driver the night of the event. Also, below is a picture of the form for the students to fill out to create their teams. Tomorrow, March 17th is the LAST DAY to create a team for mystery night! If a student does not have a team the night of the event, they can still come but will be placed in a random Jr. high car at the direction of Shayne.

Last Week
Another week of rain kept us in the Empire Conference room but it was so much fun! The kids enjoyed our Family Feud game and we all had wonderful fellowship before and after. Shayne did a great job teaching on 1 Peter 4, and although we did not get as much time in small groups as planned, we still had some great discussion and prayer.
Wednesday Night Details
- Time: 6:15-8:15pm
- Location: Tracy house 23799 Humphrey Court Murrieta, CA 92562
- Please have your student bring a Bible, notebook, pen, and a blanket to sit on.
- It now is getting colder at night so please make sure your students are dressed warmly.
Sunday Morning Details
- We meet every Sunday morning during the first service from 9-10:15am
- Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
- In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk down with your parents to the stadium and then make a right at the stairs where the youth ministry sign is. Go up the stairs, through the hall, and we will be right there after the hallway.
