[RISE Summer Camp 22] IMPORTANT CAMP INFO‼️
Everything you need to know for RISE Summer Camp 2022!
Dear Parents,
I am so thrilled to welcome your student to JH Summer Camp 2022! We are going to have a blast. I am praying that the Lord will work mightily in the heart of your student(s) this year at camp. Our MAD (Moms and Dads) Crew is finishing construction of camp games, our staff is praying and preparing for a weekend full of discipleship, Shawn Farrell is prepping to preach the Word of God for us, Daniel Reimer is sipping lattes and finalizing songs. All hands on deck! Let's go!
MUST COMPLETE BEFORE CHECK-IN:
Please make sure to complete the following BEFORE check-in. Notice there is a NEW “CampDoc” requirement recently given to us by the campsite.
Make final payments (students must be fully paid before check-in, you can find the link to make final payments in the confirmation email sent to you after you registered)
Upload a copy of your student’s medical insurance card here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/aGAEp6Epzt4Lcz9IGdkT
Create a “CampDoc” account by CLICKING HERE and fully complete your student’s health profile.
If you need help, check out these INSTRUCTIONS provided by the camp. Every student must have this process 100% complete before check-in. This is a requirement from the campsite, not us.
When it asks for Church/Group name, just put: FBC
When it asks for Church/Group phone, put mine: 951-813-0673

NO PHONE POLICY:
In an effort to protect our students from the dangers of technology and the internet, I am asking students to NOT bring their cell phones or any other device to camp. If you would like them to bring their phone in order to communicate with you periodically, we will collect their phones at check-in and keep them charged and safe with us for the weekend (please provide their phone charger if you would like to do this). If they ever need to use it to contact you, they can simply ask any of our staff. Also, they can just use mine (Terrell’s) or any staff's phone to contact you. And you can contact me at any point if you have any questions or concerns (contact info at the bottom of this email). My heart is only to protect our students and to eliminate any distractions for the weekend. ALSO – I will be sending out email updates every night of camp so you can know how our day went!
FOOD / LODGING / SHOWER INFO:
The food is going to be delicious and your student will never go hungry (see meal times on camp schedule below). There will always be water available to them and we will even have snacks available to them throughout the day. If your student has any food allergies, our staff will be aware of it if you indicated it during registration. This also applies to all other allergies or medicine needs - we have a complete list of it all and will dedicate the weekend to making sure your student is safe.
Students will sleep in cabins with other students. Girls with girls and boys with boys. Staff will be spread out amongst the cabins to make sure students are safe and accounted for. If your student would like to shower (boys sometimes don't - gross but true), we ask that they shower in their bathing suits and flip-flops. Cabin assignments will be provided at check-in. Please no special requests - we will group students according to their grade/gender. Please let me know if you have any questions.
TEAM COLORS / NAMES:
Click the button below to view which team your student is on, what their team color is, and what their team name is. This is helpful as you pack for the weekend - come decked out in your team color! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the teams or if you don't see your student listed.
CAMP SCHEDULE:
View our camp schedule by clicking the button below.
TALENT SHOW:
We will have a Summer Camp Talent Show on Saturday (6/18)! If your student would like to participate, they can sign-up beginning this Wednesday night (6/8). All instruments/equipment desired for the talent show must be brought by the student – unfortunately we cannot have students use our band’s instruments. If you or your student have any questions about the Talent Show, please don't hesitate to ask me!
NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN-UP JH FRIENDS!
Please make every last effort to invite JH friends, family, and neighbors! We want to reach as many students with the gospel as possible. Our corrupt culture is dragging students into immorality, fear, depression, and anxiety. We need to make every effort to reach the lost. Do not let money be an issue for them, we still have scholarships available. They can find both the sign-up link and scholarship application form on www.fbcyouth.net. You can also send them the digital flier below and send them this teaser video. We will keep sign-ups open up until the day before camp!
CAMP REWIND (6/22):
On Wednesday Night, June 22nd, we will host our CAMP REWIND (5:30–7:30 PM) @ Thompson Middle School (24040 Hayes Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562) where we will reflect on all the Lord did at our JH & HS Summer Camps. There will be DELICIOUS FOOD served at 5:30pm and then starting at 6pm we will gather for a time of worship, special testimonies, and recap videos! Hope you can join us!
This was a long email. But hopefully helpful for you. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I am SO excited for Summer Camp!
