Our final session begins at 9:15 AM in Kerrigil Hall. You will get a glimpse of the games we played, the music we sang, and the preaching from Josh Petras! It’s one thing to hear about how camp went, it’s totally better to see it for yourself! We pray this will be an encouraging time as you join your students for their final session of camp!
CARPOOL HELP
We are encouraging parents to CARPOOL to and from camp! However, if you are unable to take your student and need help finding a ride, we can help you! We will coordinate with parents and staff to make sure every student has a ride to and from camp! Just fill out the form below if you need help finding a ride for your student!
PACKING LIST / MODESTY LETTER:
View by clicking the buttons below. Girls, please read the modesty letter.
NO PHONE POLICY:
In an effort to protect our students from the dangers of technology and the internet, I am asking students to NOT bring their cell phones or any other device to camp. If you would like them to bring their phone in order to communicate with you periodically, we will collect their phones at check-in and keep them charged and safe with us for the weekend (please provide their phone charger if you would like to do this). If they ever need to use it to contact you, they can simply ask any of our staff. Also, they can just use mine (Terrell’s) or any staff's phone to contact you. And you can contact me at any point if you have any questions or concerns (contact info at the bottom of this email). My heart is only to protect our students and eliminate any distractions for the weekend. ALSO – I will be sending out email updates every night of camp so you can know how our day went!
FOOD / LODGING / SHOWER INFO:
The food is going to be delicious and your student will never go hungry. There will always be water available to them and we will even have snacks available to them throughout the day. If your student has any food allergies, our staff will be aware of it if you indicated it during registration. This also applies to all other allergies or medicine needs - we have a complete list of it all and will dedicate the weekend to making sure your student is safe.
Students will sleep in cabins with other students. Girls with girls and boys with boys. Staff will be spread out amongst the cabins to make sure students are safe and accounted for. If your student would like to shower (boys sometimes don't - gross but true), we recommend that they bring flip-flops. Cabin assignments will be provided at check-in. Please no special requests - we will group students according to their grade/gender. Please let me know if you have any questions.
TEAM COLORS / NAMES:
Click the button below to view which team your student is on, what their team colors are, and what their team name is. This is helpful as you pack for the weekend - come decked out in your team colors! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the teams or if you don't see your student listed.
Please note that camp teams are a very minimal aspect of camp. Meaning, your student will spend little time seperated into their team. So, there is no need to worry if your student is not on the same team as their friend as they will not be seperated for long and they will all be playing the same games. In other words, please no special requests for teams – teams are randomly generated so that the competition is fair.
TALENT SHOW:
We will have a Summer Camp Talent Show on Wednesday (6/19)! If your student would like to participate, they can sign up at camp. All instruments/equipment desired for the talent show must be brought by the student – unfortunately, we cannot have students use our band’s instruments. If you or your student have any questions about the Talent Show, please don't hesitate to ask me!
NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN-UP JH FRIENDS!
Please make every last effort to invite JH friends, family, and neighbors! We want to reach as many students with the gospel as possible. Our corrupt culture is dragging students into immorality, fear, depression, and anxiety. We need to make every effort to reach the lost. Do not let money be an issue for them, we still have scholarships available. They can find both the sign-up link and scholarship application form at www.fbcyouth.net/camp. You can also send them the digital flier below. We will keep sign-ups open until the day before camp.
CAMP REWIND (6/23):
On Sunday Night, June 23, we will host our CAMP REWIND (6–8 PM) @ Thompson Middle School (24040 Hayes Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562) where we will reflect on all the Lord did at our JH & HS Summer Camps. There will be DELICIOUS FOOD served at 6 PM and then starting at 6:30 PM we will gather for a time of worship, special testimonies, and recap videos! Hope you can join us!
This was a long email. But hopefully helpful for you. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I am SO excited for Summer Camp!
In Him,
