Dear Parents,
Off-campus Sunday was a success!
Although it was unplanned and due to the weather, our last Sunday spent off-campus turned out to be a hit! Our staff members took students to various locations to spend time in fellowship and discipleship! We had students at restaurants, coffee shops, fast food spots, and even homes! It ranged from games to resolutions to life updates and everything in between. The Lord used the weather perfectly to bring about exactly what He desires for our ministry and your students! Not only was He at work in our ministry, but also across the state! With the outbreak of fires up North, we thank God and praise Him for bringing relief to many. It is such a blessing to see God’s soverignty and control over all that life may bring! We serve a good and mighty God!
Youth is back on tonight!
TONIGHT, and EVERY Wednesday night we will meet at FAITH BIBLE CHURCH (23580 Glazebrook Rd, Wildomar, 92595)! Join us from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Youth Room! There will be games, gaga ball, praise, a sermon, and time in small groups!
Tonight is our second night in our new sermon series called “100%”! After winter camp, students are fired up and eager to live out their faith. The desire is to help prepare them and ready them to do that! We will spend the new few weeks working through the greatest commandments. We will discuss what it means to Iove God with all that you are. Matthew 22 describes it as loving God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength, and loving your neighbor as yourself. Tonight we are discussing loving God with all of your strength! We will be walking through Hebrews 12:1-2, “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Our Christian lives are like a race that we run for his glory. To live for God with all of our strength we must lay aside our sin, run with endurance, and set our eyes on Christ!
New Senior Staff!
We have just had a new family come on board as senior staff in our ministry and I wanted you guys to be in the know! Joe and Julie Levis have just joined us and are now serving as senior staff over our ministry! They will be working alongside the staff to help lead, shepherd, and serve the students! They are an incredible, faithful, and God-honoring family and we are thrilled to have them! If you see them around, please connect with them, get to know them, and thank them for their service!
See you all tonight!
In Christ,
Johnny
