[RISE Weekly] Behave Yourself & Romans Summer Challenge Reward!
Ephesians 4:1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called
Dear Parents,
Romans Summer Challenge Celebration is Tonight!
Last summer, we published daily devotionals throughout the month of July that walked through the book of Romans verse by verse. The students were encouraged to read through the passage, watch the video devotional, and answer questions related to the video / passage. If the studnets completed at least 25 days of the challenge, they were to earn a reward! Those who completed the challenge were given the choice between cool merch, a delicious treat, or a fun event! Nearly every student voted for a fun event! But, through the process of Terrell going to high school ministry, the reward kind of fell to the wayside for a while. Now, we are going to give them the reward that they worked so hard to earn! And in addition, to a fun event, we will have merch, food, and a fun event! Tonight at 5:30 at the church all Romans summer challenge finishers are invited for a pre-youth grooup hangout! There will be pizza, otter pops, soda, exclusive stickers, and we will play one of the students’ favorite game on the field! If your student is on the list of finishers, please bring them to the church a little early so that we can celebrate with them!
Summer Camp Dates!
Thank you for your patience waiting for this news- but it’s finally here! Our official 2025 Summer Camp dates are June 23-26!!
Youth is back on tonight!
TONIGHT, and EVERY Wednesday night we will meet at FAITH BIBLE CHURCH (23580 Glazebrook Rd, Wildomar, 92595)! Join us from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Youth Room! There will be games, gaga ball, praise, a sermon, and time in small groups!
Tonight is our second in our “Exemplary” series! The series is from 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” We will discuss what it means to be an example in your conduct. Ephesians 4:1 says “Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Our conduct is not just the things we do, or the Christian disciplines of reading our Bible and praying, our conduct is the way that we live. As Paul describes it in Ephesians 4:1, it is our heart and the manner by which we conduct our lives! All believers, regardless of their age, can be an example of those who believe - and tonight we will discuss what that looks like in terms of our conduct and the way that we live!
See you tonight!
In Christ,
Johnny
