Dear Parents,
We’re only halfway through our Summer Semester and it has been a blast! The Proverbs Challenge continues and we are still blown away by the number of students participating. What can be better than seeing so many students reading God’s Word EVERY DAY and thinking through questions that help them apply His Words to their hearts?! We are super encouraged and pray that this Proverbs Challenge has been a blessing to your home and family.
THIS WEDNESDAY (7/14)
We will have a BUBBLE SOCCER TOURNAMENT this Wednesday (7/14) from 6:15 – 8:15 PM at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park (37000 Ruth Ellen Way, Murrieta, CA 92563). We will send you an email update tomorrow before the event letting you know exactly where in the park we will be set up! There will be watermelon slices, Gatorade, and water for all students!
This is an excellent opportunity for your students to invite their JH friends! Bubble Soccer is so fun but most importantly, the gospel will be preached at the end of the night! With everything we do, our goal is always to proclaim Christ and help your students better know Him.
NEXT WEDNESDAY (7/21)
Next Wednesday we are back at The Castellon’s for another pool day! It is really hard to beat pool days. They are just too much fun! Check out some pictures taken from last Wednesday at the bottom of this email!

Last Week
Last Wednesday was another roaring success at our RISE Summer Night at the Castellon’s. They have done a wonderful job hosting and we are so thankful they are allowing our youth group to enjoy their backyard. There was plenty of fun happening inside and outside the pool, and toward the end, Alex gave a great message on the wisdom Yahweh has given to us in Proverbs 15 in regards to our speech.
Wednesday Summer Nights Details
- Time: 6:15-8:15pm
*THIS WEDNESDAY (7/14) WE HAVE A BUBBLE SOCCER TOURNAMENT AT LOS ALAMOS SPORTS PARK - CHECK DETAILS IN THE LETTER ABOVE*
- Location: Castellon house 24454 Whitaker Way, Murrieta, CA 92562
- Please have your student bring a Bible, notebook, pen, and a swimsuit and towel if they would like to swim (Girls: one piece with board shorts or tankini with board shorts).
Sunday Morning Details
- We meet every Sunday morning during the first service that is now from 8:30-10am.
- Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
- In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk down with your parents to the stadium and then make a right at the stairs where the youth ministry sign is. Go up the stairs, through the hall, and we will be right there after the hallway.
