[RISE Weekly] Campus Ministry?! π
Youth tomorrow night at the Behnans! RISE On Campus coming soon! Invite students to TRUNK OR TREAT!
Dear Parents,
Iβm excited for another week of ministry with your incredible β and crazy β students! Itβs been so encouraging to see many new visitors join us on Wednesdays and Sundays β please keep inviting more! Bring them to youth, invite them to Trunk or Treat, and get them plugged in before Winter Camp!
THIS WEDNESDAY πββοΈ
Join us TOMORROW NIGHT from 6:15-8:15 pm at the Behnan Home (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta, CA 92562) as we continue in our series out of Revelation 2-3 called βLetters from Jesus.β
This week, we are in Revelation 2:8β11 where we will essentially be asked by Jesus: Will you be found faithful through suffering? The church of Smyrna endured suffering but Christ commands and promises them to
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Rev 2:10)
James urges us to:
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. (Jas 1:2β4)
MacArthur writes:
Trials and persecution strengthen and refine genuine saving faith, but uncover and destroy false faith.
I pray that our students would be found faithful to Christ in the midst of coming suffering and persecution. Our Lord does all things for our good and His glory! Invite all the jr high students you know β especially those who you know are hurting.
TRUNK OR TREAT β A WAY YOU CAN HELP!
TRUNK OR TREAT is on 10/28 from 6β8pm at Rival Coffee! Students dress up, go through a ton of activity stations (the trunks) and win awesome prizes. Costume contest! Free coffee! Candy! Live music! Jr High and High School combined! DONβT MISS IT & INVITE FRIENDS!
A WAY YOU CAN BLESS US = DONATE CANDY! π¬π«π Trunk or Treat requires a TON of candy (weβre expecting about 200 students with 20 stations)! So, if you are able to donate bags of candy, we would greatly appreciate it! Just drop it off with us on a Wednesday Night or Sunday Morning before 10/28! π
STARTING SOON: ROC! (RISE On Campus) π«π
Weβre working to get RISE on local middle school campuses this semester! ROC will be a club that meets once a week during lunch for FREE PIZZA and Bible study! Our goal is to preach the gospel to lost students on campus and to get them plugged into our youth group and church!
Tomorrow I will be going to David Brown Middle School for their club rush β this school is a perfect start since itβs so close to our property. Please be praying for us as the process to get onto campuses can be very complicated.
HOW YOU CAN HELP β Please let me know if youβre interested in SPONSORING a campus β meaning you would commit to covering the full or partial cost of pizza for one of our campuses. If youβre interested, click the BUTTON BELOW!
DO YOU WANT ROC ON YOUR STUDENTβS CAMPUS? Let me know what middle school your student attends so I know which schools to target next! CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW!
See you all tomorrow night at youth!
In Him,
Terrell
Last Week
Baby, Backpack, Bunkbed was the game of choice last week and it was a hit! After some announcements, we used the voices Yahweh gave us to praise Him in song. Terrell then led us through our new series in the book of Revelation as we look at the letters Jesus wrote to the churches of the time. The Gospel was so clearly presented and we pray the Lord would soften the studentsβ hearts so that they repent and put their faith in Him to love Him first and foremost, always and forevermore!
