Dear Parents,
It is so fun to be in the midst of this holiday season with your students! We’ve got a few more Wednesdays and Sundays left, an epic Christmas Party to end the semester, and Winter Camp is coming FAST! I love this time of the year!
THIS WEDNESDAY – ENDURANCE IS ASSURANCE! 🏃♂️
Join us TOMORROW (11/30) at the Behnan’s from 6:15–8:15 PM as we dive back into our series “Letters from Jesus” out of Revelation 2–3!
This week, we’ll be studying Revelation 3:7–13 and learning what the Lord wrote to the church in Philadelphia. With this church, we get a break from the trend of wickedness we’ve seen in the previous churches and instead see why the Lord commends this church for their faithfulness. In fact, Philadelphia and Smyrna are the only churches out of the 7 that do not receive a rebuke from Jesus!
The church in Philadelphia was small in numbers but because of their faithful obedience and perseverance, the Lord worked mightily through them. Through all of their trials, difficulties, and great poverty, this church patiently endured. Endurance, then, is indeed a mark of genuine assurance. Consider also these verses:
“They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.” (1 John 2:19)
““You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.” (Matthew 10:22)
“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” (James 1:12)

Early-Bird Registration is now OPEN for WINTER CAMP 2023! Students cannot miss this incredible weekend away saturated in God’s word, discipleship, and tons of fun! This year, we’ll be going to Thousand Pines Christian Camp – a MAJOR upgrade from where we usually go (nicer facilities, extra fun activities like zip-lining and rock climbing, and a bigger and better malt shop)! Also, our CAMP SPEAKER is our very own, the one and only, PATRICK LEVIS! Join us January 13–16!

Sunday Morning Details
We meet every Sunday morning during the first service from 8:00 - 9:15 AM.
Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk towards the upper quad of campus past Children’s Ministry. You will see our large group gathered at the far end! Or, you can always ask one of our friendly ushers or greeters where Jr. High Ministry meets and they will show you.
