Terrell's first parent email!! D-Group Hangouts THIS WED!!!
Dear Parents,
The transition into Jr. High Ministry has been so fun as I’ve gotten to know each of your students better on Wednesdays and Sundays! They are just the best. All they care about is God’s Word and having fun – never worried about embarrassing themselves as they play games or dress up as cereal boxes. I’ve also been so encouraged sitting in on some of their Discipleship Group conversations – they aren’t afraid to talk and ask such good questions. Thank you for allowing me to come alongside you in discipleship. I love your students and am so excited for the future of this ministry.
I am also so thankful for Shayne and Christina Torres. They love your students so much and have been so faithful in serving them and the staff. Even through this transition, Shayne has made every effort to help and encourage me as I come in. He has been the ultimate example of a humble, servant leader. I can’t thank the Lord enough for our friendship. Please continue to express your thankfulness to them – they are leaving this ministry in its healthiest state.
D-GROUP HANGOUTS ARE THIS WEDNESDAY! This means we are NOT meeting all together at the Tracy Home; instead, your students will be with their discipleship groups in various locations in order to build deeper relationships with their friends and discipleship leaders. See below for all of the information you need to know for your student this Wednesday!
THIS SATURDAY IS A JR. HIGH HANGOUT AT THE PARK AT 10AM! Look out for a separate email later this week with all of the info! This is just another way for us to build deeper relationships with your students. Plus, it’ll be a ton of FUN!

In order to prevent all of the parents from needing to drive to Temecula to Ilianna’s house, we will meet at the Starbucks off Murrieta Hot Springs that is between the 215 and the 15 at 6pm and then Elsie and I will drive the girls to Ilianna’s house. Pick up will be back at the Starbucks at 8:30pm. Let me know if you have questions!

Last Week
Last week was cereal night! There were some phenomenal and creative costumes and the students did a great job thinking of unique things to wear for the night. After a game of head, shoulders, knees, cup!, we heard an awesome message from Shayne on the questions that may come up for what life after salvation might look like. We then went off to small groups and then ended the night eating delicious cereal and milk.

- Please have your student bring a Bible, notebook, pen, and a blanket to sit on.
Sunday Morning Details
- We meet every Sunday morning during the first service that is now from 8:30-10am.
- Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
- In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk down with your parents to the stadium and then make a right at the stairs where the youth ministry sign is. Go up the stairs, through the hall, and we will be right there after the hallway.
