Dear Parents,
Sadly the summer has come to an end – seminary started back up for me today and I’m sure school for your students has begun or will begin this week as well – but it has been an INCREDIBLE summer! I am thankful for the many ways the Lord blessed us through Summer Camp, Mark Summer Challenge, Youth Summer Blowout, Wednesday Nights, & Sunday Mornings! I hope that your students grew in a greater knowledge of Christ this summer and that they are desirous to learn even more of Him this fall!
We have a TON of exciting plans for the fall that I cannot wait to share with you tomorrow at Family Night! This past Sunday our staff met together to pray for your students and prepare for the upcoming semester. Would you pray for our staff this semester as they continue to devote themselves to this ministry and to your students?

Your entire family is invited to join us TOMORROW (8/10) for FAMILY NIGHT from 6-8pm at the Backlund’s (42942 Dawnwood St, Murrieta, CA 92562). Family Night is basically a GIANT parent meeting where we eat dinner together (gives you a chance to meet your student’s leaders), worship together (through song and a short sermon), and get updated on all that’s coming in the FALL! You can’t miss it! Jr High and High School combined this year!

I am so thankful to announce that starting NEXT WEDNESDAY (8/17), we will be meeting at the BEHNAN HOME on Wednesday Nights during the fall semester! Johnny & Zina Behnan recently moved onto a new property in MURRIETA and have graciously invited us to start meeting there! Please tell them THANK YOU when you see them! 😁

Last Week
Our last pool night of the summer went off without a hitch! It was awesome to be able to have the ice cream truck there to provide treats to the the students and neighbors. The kids never tire of the pool, and the usual fun and games that happen at the Castellon’s were still as fun as ever. We then got to hear Sammy Behnan teach out of Psalm 1 and challenge us to be rooted in the Word and walk wisely and not with the foolish. The summer went by SO fast, but we can’t wait to get back into the normal routine of the fall.

Sunday Morning Details
- We meet every Sunday morning during the first service from 8:00 - 9:15 AM.
- Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
- In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk towards the upper quad of campus past Children’s Ministry. You will see our large group gathered at the far end! Or, you can always ask one of our friendly ushers or greeters where Jr. High Ministry meets and they will show you.
