It was SO GOOD to be back together this past Wednesday! Thank you to those of you who joined us for the Parent Huddle! For those who missed it, here is our FALL CALENDAR! I’m pumped for this semester in Jr High – it is going to be THE BEST EVER!!!! Your students can also pick up a physical copy at youth!
This Wednesday: God Made Me Do It! 😭
This Wednesday (9/25), join us at the BEHNAN HOME (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta, CA 92562) from 6:30-8:30 PM! There will be GAMES, WORSHIP, and BIBLE!!! 🙌 We had so many students join us for our launch last week and even some new visitors – encourage your students to keep inviting friends from school or the neighborhood!
This Wednesday, we will continue studying the book of JAMES! Last week, we introduced the book and considered the first TEST of genuine faith – The Test of Suffering in James 1:1-12. Now, we move on to James 1:13-18 and take the BLAME GAME TEST … Do you blame others for your sin? Do you blame God for your sin? Are you prepared to face temptation? We will tackle these questions and more this Wednesday as we take ownership of our sin and prepare for the temptations that will surely come our way.
This Sunday: We’re BACK!! 🙌
I am so excited to gather again for our Jr High service on SUNDAYS! Since we are moving to two services (8:30 & 10:30 AM) this Sunday (9/29), we get to launch our Jr High services again!!
Join us every Sunday during 1st service (8:30 AM) at Murrieta Valley High School in the Upper Quad! We play games and then we dive into the Word together! This semester, we will be going through a series titled: ALWAYS READY! The goal is to help our students answer big questions that arise as we study biblical doctrine - both for their own faith and so that they are prepared to answer these questions when their friends or others ask them!
Here is the list of questions we plan to cover this semester – each question highlighting a different area of doctrine! I hope you enjoy how some of them are phrased 😆

What an exciting week! I am so thankful to be back into our regular routine!

RISE Rewind ⏮️
Last week, we kicked off the fall semester with a parent huddle, announcing some exciting and helpful topics about what the students will be learning each week. Wednesday nights will be evangelistic as we will be going through the book of James as we examine for ourselves the reality of our salvation in Christ, and on Sundays, we will be looking into commonly asked topics Jr Highers might be curious about!
On our first night back into our studies, we learned what it means to examine your faith, whether we are in Christ or if we have been self-deceived, what the evidences of a genuine faith looks like even in the midst of suffering, asking and seeking the Lord above all for wisdom, humbling ourselves in our circumstances, and finally looking towards the prize we have been blessed by being in Christ in eternity!
We ended off announcing our Roman Challenge winners, as we had so many who completed them. It’s been so awesome seeing the excitement of the students being here and wanting to learn more!
