Dear Parents,
What an EXCITING week as we welcome in NEW students and staff! We’ve got 3 AWESOME new staff members joining us! Reece Johnson is coming from college ministry serving staff and is one of the most sacrificial, servant-hearted guys I have ever met! Kaylee Generoso is also coming from the college serving staff and is SO sweet, kind, gracious, and FUN – the girls are going to love her! And last, but certainly not least, the incredible Lili Delgado is joining us – she has been serving in our high school ministry for 4 years discipling girls! She is an amazing discipler (she led my sister to Christ) and the jr high girls are going to love her!

Join us TONIGHT (5/17), from 6:30–8:30 PM at the Behnan Home (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta, CA 92562) as we welcome in our NEW 6th graders and staff!
Tonight is the start of a NEW semester with NEW games and a NEW sermon series! Students should buckle up for an exciting new, and EXTRA FUN, era in jr high ministry!
Our new sermon series will focus on our IDENTITY in Christ – I’m calling it: “NAME TAGS!” As we spend the beginning of this semester introducing ourselves to one another, we are also going to learn how true Christians can identify themselves. What can Christians write on their name tag? We will go through 4 name tags of the genuine Christian: Child of God, Ambassador of Christ, Slave of Christ, and Citizen of Heaven.
Tonight, we will begin by learning that true Christians can call themselves a CHILD OF GOD! We often only think about our salvation as putting us in right legal standing before God (our justification) which is AMAZING but there’s even MORE to the picture. Not only have we been legally justified by God, we have also been lovingly adopted by Him! He is our Father! Tonight we’ll study Ephesians 1:4-6 to learn that our adoption is from Him, through Him, and for Him. Can’t wait!

Last Week
It was bittersweet to say goodbye to the 8th graders last week! We will miss them a ton and are so amazed at the work God did in them the past 3 years. We played a fun game with them and then, after worship, Terrell had one last time to encourage them(and the other students) with the Gospel from the Word of God. We finished it off with paper plate awards for the 8th graders as well as for the staff that are leaving. We know even though this is the end of the 8th graders(and the leaving staff) in Jr. High, we are all still apart of one body of Christ in the church and we look forward to catching up with them as we see them around.

Sunday Morning Details
We meet every Sunday morning during the first service from 8:00 - 9:15 AM.
Here is the address we meet at on Sunday: Murrieta Valley High School
In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk towards the upper quad of campus past Children’s Ministry. You will see our large group gathered at the far end! Or, you can always ask one of our friendly ushers or greeters where Jr. High Ministry meets and they will show you.
