[RISE Weekly] If The Lord Wills 📖🚶♂️
Join us tonight at FBC, 6:30-8:30 PM! Plus, Friendsgiving is approaching: Nov 23!
Dear Parents,
Wow, I am so encouraged by how the Lord used our Man & Woman Camp this year! The students had a ton of fun but most importantly, the teaching was so clear and helpful. I pray that our JH guys & gals will grow into godly men and women who love and live for the Lord! I am excited for all that is still yet to come in Jr High as we near the end of an incredible semester together.
FRIENDSGIVING – NOVEMBER 23! 🦃🍽️
We are excited for FRIENDSGIVING coming up on November 23 from 3:30–8:30 PM! This is a fun event where students split up into their Discipleship Groups at 3:30 pm into various local homes and prepare a Thanksgiving dish! Then, at 6:30 pm, all groups gather together at FBC to enjoy all the food that was prepared!
We are finalizing our host homes soon, so, if you would be interested in hosting your student’s discipleship group, please reach out to me or your student’s staff leader!
YOUTH TONIGHT – IF THE LORD WILLS 📖🚶♂️
TONIGHT, and every Wednesday, we meet at FAITH BIBLE CHURCH (23580 Glazebrook Rd, Wildomar, 92595)! Join us from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Worship Center!
We are continuing our study in the book of JAMES! Tonight we will consider the next test found in James 4:13–17. The question is, do you walk in the will of God? There are those who ignore God’s will altogether as if He doesn’t exist, those who acknowledge His will but deny the supremacy of it, and those who acknowledge both the existence and supremacy of God’s will but still choose to reject it. True believers in Christ, while not perfect, will show a pattern of submission to the will of God. Tonight, we will discuss how to find God’s will and follow it in all that we do!
See you all tonight!
In Him,
Terrell
RISE Rewind ⏮️

Last Wednesday, our Jr. Highers revisited the nostalgic abode of the Behnans due to the power outage in Wildomar, and we are grateful for their willingness to open their home again to us! The next test we learned in James is on worldly indulgence - whether we are in friendship with the world where we exalt ourselves and bring ruin to our relationships OR if we are in friendship with God who humbles us and restores our relationships. We read through the passage, James 4:1-12, to examine our hearts and our attitudes if we boast in ourselves and seek attention, or if we boast solely of the cross of Christ and regard others as more important than ourselves.
Heading into the weekend, we had our Man and Woman camp, where the girls had one big fun sleepover at the Sirbu abode, and the boys camped out at Lake Skinner. With many games and activities, we focused on what we needed the most within the camp, and that was to exalt the Word of God in our lives and how we must submit to it with our lives, our thoughts, and our hearts. The following day on Sunday we continued on our equipping series in searching the scriptures of who Christ died for, and He has indeed so willingly died for us while we were still sinners in rebellion against Him, and graciously bestowed us the undeserving gift of eternal life to be with Him.
