[RISE Weekly] Last Week at the Tracy's
Next week our Wednesday Night location moves to FBCT! Volunteer for Trunk or Treat!
Dear Parents,
Another moment that made me pause in thankfulness for our church and ministry occurred last night. As I was studying at a coffee shop, a guy saw my bible software open on my computer and asked if I was going to Bible school. I said yes and his eyes lit up when I mentioned The Master’s Seminary. He went on to explain how he recently left his church and role as a youth leader once he discovered John MacArthur’s preaching and reformed theology. His eyes were opened to his previous church’s seeker-sensitive, unsound youth group and church. After that conversation ended, he came back 10 minutes later with his friend. The friend had just left the same church for the same reasons yesterday. We talked about good books they could start reading to learn more and exchanged numbers. 20 minutes later, another man came up to me – one of the youth pastors from that same youth group and church. He too was developing the same convictions and asked if I could sit down with them sometime soon to help them with some of the issues they are facing. A totally unexpected night! I’m thankful for the opportunity to help these brothers but also just thankful for the way the Lord has allowed us to find such a biblically-sound church like FBC. We are truly blessed. By the way, those men will be joining our college ministry this Friday night. :)
LAST WED NIGHT AT THE TRACY’S
We are so thankful for the incredible hospitality the Tracy’s have shown us during this past season of ministry! They have been so kind to us. Join us tomorrow as we enjoy our last Wednesday Night there and continue in our study of The Gospel According to John! This week, we will be studying John 3:1-21 as we see our great need to be BORN AGAIN! I’m very excited for this important passage.
Next Wednesday Night (10/6) we will be at FBCT (27470 Jefferson Ave Unit 6C, Temecula, CA 92590)! Same time, 6:15 – 8:15 PM.
VOLUNTEER FOR TRUNK OR TREAT!
Our Trunk or Treat event is on 10/30 at Rival Coffee and WE NEED YOUR HELP! The only way this event can happen is if YOU volunteer by decorating your trunk and running an activity for our students! We are so thankful to be serving in this ministry and to come alongside you in discipleship! Can’t wait to see you and your students tomorrow!
See you this Lord’s Day!

Last Week
Hawaiian Night last week was a success! So many students participated in dressing up, it was awesome! We had a fun game of limbo and the winner got a gift card. We also served some delicious shaved ice and meet a few new visitors. Keep encouraging your students to bring their friends! After we heard a staff member’s testimony and sang songs of worship, Terrell continued our study in The Gospel According to John. We ended the night with small groups, hang out, and some more shaved ice.🍧
