Dear Parents,
Mystery Night is almost here!
Mystery Night is one of the biggest and most fun events in our ministry, and it is only 3 days away! The concept of mystery night is that students form teams of 6-8 students - two of which must be new visitors- and participate in a city wide scavenger hunt! The teams are given clues to different locations and challenges across the town. They are to solve the clue, go to the station, complete the challenge, and then they’ll get a new clue and keep on going! At each station they will participate in challenges as fast as they can as successfully as they can, and they will get points based on their performance! They will try to hit as many stations and score as many points as possible! After the challenges, Whichever has the most points at the end will be our grand champions! It’s a great night and serves as such an incredible outreach opportunity! Please be praying that the Lord would use this event to bring Himself glory and to spread His gospel!
Mystery Night Information!
Join us on April 25 from 5-9 pm at Faith Bible Church! Dinner included. Open to all high school and jr high students!
This is an event you don’t want to miss! Please sign up up your student now using the button below! Students cannot be filed onto a team until they are registered for the event!
As mentioned, this entire night is done in teams! Students are allowed to pick their own teams and fill them in on this sheet! If a student is having difficulty finding a team, please text me at 509-992-4830! Send me your student’s name and grade, and I will work to find a team that will work best for them!
Please get these sheets into us by the end of Wednesday night! You can print them, fill them out, and bring them to a leader at youth group, or fill in the PDF and email it to me at johnny@faith-bible.net, or lastly we will have physical versions available at youth on Wednesday night so a student can fill them out on the spot! But by whatever means most helpful to you, please get them submitted before the night ends!
Mystery Night is not possible without you PARENT DRIVERS! We need drivers with big cars who can drive our students around town on April 25th. This is such a fun way to serve our students! If you want to be part of this amazing outreach event, sign up using the button below!
Youth is back on tomorrow night!
Tomorrow, and EVERY Wednesday night we will meet at FAITH BIBLE CHURCH (23580 Glazebrook Rd, Wildomar, 92595)! Join us from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Youth Room! There will be games, gaga ball, praise, a sermon, and time in small groups!
Tomorrow is our fourth in our “Exemplary” series! The series is from 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” All believers, regardless of age or grade, have people looking at them and the way they live. We have the opportunity to show ourselves as an example of those who believe! In the way that we live, we can proclaim to others what it means to be a believer in Christ. Tomorrow we will discuss what it means to be an example in our faith! Hebrews 11:1 so clearly defines what faith is, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Faith is a belief and assurance in the things not seen. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says “For we live by faith, not by sight.” For the believer, we live by faith and in assurance of the things unseen. To live by faith isn’t to be hyper-religious, extra holy, or legalistic. To live by faith is to live in light of eternity and the things unseen! To live by faith is to live not as this world does, but as Christ lived and as He has called us to. We must live in a manner that displays our faith and confidence in the things unseen, and if we do so we can point those around us to our one and only hope, Christ!
See you tomorrow!
In Christ,
Johnny
