[RISE Weekly] Prepare for TAKE OFF! ✈️
D-Group Hangouts this week! Fall Launch next week with a Parent Huddle beforehand!
Dear Parents,
Thank you again for all your patience and flexibility as our plans seem to be adjusting constantly. We continue to trust the Lord and His timing for when we will be able to move onto the property, but we also recognize the need to move on with the new semester and get some consistency!
So, sadly, we will be postponing Family Night once again. We will reschedule it in the future after we are officially, physically, without a doubt, on the property. I am looking forward to this sweet event where we can all worship together as one big youth family!
Now… we prepare for TAKE OFF! Here is the plan to LAUNCH INTO THE FALL SEMESTER! 😁
THIS Wednesday: D-Group Hangouts! 🤙
THIS Wednesday (9/11), from 6:30-8:30 PM, each Discipleship Group will meet separately at various locations for D-Group Hangouts! This time is intended for our staff and students to get some quality fellowship time together and build relationships as we head into the new semester! Every group will meet during the same time but locations and activities will be different for each.
An email will be sent TOMORROW (9/9) with all the info for every group. We are just sending this email out ASAP so that we give you as much time as possible to prepare!
NEXT Wednesday: Parent Huddle & Fall Launch! ✈️
NEXT Wednesday (9/18), we will officially launch our Fall Semester! Join us at the BEHNAN HOME (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta, CA 92562) starting 9/18 and every Wednesday after that (until we move onto the property).
From 6-6:30 PM on 9/18, we will have a PARENT HUDDLE! 👨👩👧👦 During this time, we will go over our RISE Fall Calendar and exciting new plans we have for your students! We will also give you an opportunity to meet with your student’s discipleship group leaders! This will be an important time to best prepare you for the new year in Jr High! Then, afterward, you are free to stick around and observe for the rest of the youth group!
From 6:30-8:30 PM, we will have our FIRST RISE NIGHT of the FALL! 🙌 We are BACK with bigger and better GAMES, Christ-exalting worship, preaching, small groups, and… we will finally announce the winners and prize for the Romans Summer Challenge!
You don’t want to miss this EPIC FALL LAUNCH! It’s all happening at the Behnan’s on 9/18. Let’s gooooo!!! 🔥
Can’t wait for this new semester in RISE Jr High! It will be the best ever.

RISE Rewind ⏮️
It was our last Wednesday for Summer Endless Nights, and we are so thankful for the faithfulness of our Lord as He has never failed to provide for our needs and has not ceased in the sanctifying growth of our staff and students. At this time we had a blast at the pool performing the most “interesting” dives, played a fun yet gentle King/Queen of the hill, ate some delectable pizza, opened a fizzy can of Dr.Pepper, and enjoyed some sweet conversations as the sun was setting! We are also incredibly thankful to the Martinez’s as it was their final night serving at Jr High, and we could never forget the impact they have made to pour into the lives of these students and of course to all of us! We will keep looking forward and press on as we fix our eyes upon Christ, the author, finisher, and perfector of our faith as we move into the fall semester and back into the sermons + small groups - so exciting!

Sunday Morning Details
Faith Bible Church meets every Sunday morning from 8–9:15 AM in the MVHS Quad!
There is currently no Jr High Service on Sunday mornings but you can sign-up your student to SERVE on Sundays HERE.
