[RISE Weekly] Pure, Purely By Him
Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
Dear Parents,
Mystery Night Was Incredible!
Mystery night 2025 was a HUGE success! Through this event we had more than 70 new visitors not only on church property, meeting our staff, spending time with those in our church, but hearing the gospel! It was an incredible night full of fun, competition, laughter, and we are rejoicing for the night that it was! THANK YOU to all of you parents who served as drivers, you made the night possible! The students had fun, I had fun, and as a result of Mystery Night more than 70 new junior high to high school aged students were able to hear the good news of the gospel.

Tonight is our fifth and final night in our “Exemplary” series! The series is from 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” All believers, regardless of age or grade, have people looking at them and the way they live. We have the opportunity to show ourselves as an example of those who believe! In the way that we live, we can proclaim to others what it means to be a believer in Christ. Tonight we will discuss what it means to be an example in our purity! In order to discuss purity and pure living, we must first realize that man by nature is sinful and unclean. Psalm 51 is written by David and it shows his sinfulness, his repentance, the sanctifiyng work of God in the sinner, and how we should live in response! Our world is a dark and sinful place, and the only way that we can truly live as an example of Christ is if God has changed our hearts! To live purely, we must have our heart of stone replaced for a heart of flesh. Once that has taken place, our heart will desire to live in a way that is pure and honors the Lord! Then and only then, can we be examples of purity in an unclean world!
See you tonight!
In Christ,
Johnny
