Dear Parents,
Thank you to all you parents who came to our Parent Meeting this past Sunday! I hope you left encouraged by our plans for the semester and our desire to come alongside you in discipling your students. THANK YOU for signing up to serve on Wednesday Nights, Staff Meetings, and Mystery Night! We were blown away by how quickly those slots filled up! This Sunday, we will have signups out on the patio for you to get involved in our incredible Campus Ministry so look out for us with clipboards in between services! Also, in case you missed the parent meeting, below is our SPRING CALENDAR. You can download it or pick up a physical copy at youth!
YOUTH TONIGHT @ THE BEHNANโS! ๐โโ๏ธ
Weโre BACK TONIGHT (1/31) at the Behnan Home (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta) from 6:30โ8:30 PM as we continue our series titled: RUN! A series explaining how we as Christians can run the Christian race.
Tonight, we will continue by breaking down Hebrews 12:1โ3. In this passage, the writer of Hebrews will encourage all believers to RUN WITH ENDURANCE! Sadly, many of our students are either not in the race at all (have not yet put their faith in Christ), or they are believers who are just walking, jogging, but not RUNNING! To run, however, requires endurance. This Christian race is not a 100-yard dash, it is a marathon! Hebrews 12 will help us with our endurance. Believers must remember the encouragement of the Saints, pursue the elimination of sin, follow the example of the Savior, and constantly consider the endurance of the Son.
I pray tonight will either encourage our students to start running or prepare those who are already running to run with ENDURANCE!
See you TONIGHT!
In Him,
Terrell
Last Week
We are so thankful parents send their students to youth week in and week out. We love getting to speak Godโs truth into their lives and build relationships with them. It is always so much fun to be with them! Last Wednesday we played human Tic-Tac-Toe which is always hilarious to watch. Then AJ led us in worship and Terrell continued the series we are going through on running the race of the Christian life. He went over the discipline required to run this race well, and the students were challenged to evaluate their own lives in regards to how disciplined they are.
