[RISE Weekly] Week 2 of Summer! 🏊♂️📖
Join us for another POOL DAY tomorrow at The Castellon’s, start forming teams for our OUTREACH CAMP!
Dear Parents,
One of the reasons why I love the Mark Summer Challenge so much is because students can participate and stay connected no matter where they are - in Murrieta or on vacation in Hawaii. Fortunately, I’m enjoying that same benefit as I’ve been able to record and upload while in Africa! They have served as a nice start to my mornings and keeps me thinking and praying for our students at home.
Thank you to those who have been praying for my trip - I really need it. Missions trips in general require a great amount of flexibility - this one in particular has put my trust in the Lord to the test more than any other trip I’ve been on. I’m thankful for it and I am learning so much. One step of faith at a time. If you want to read more about how my trip is going, check out the FBC Weekly email that will be sent out tomorrow morning.
POOL DAY TOMORROW NIGHT! 🏊♂️
Our Summer Nights continue tomorrow! 🙌 Join us at the Castellon’s (24454 Whitaker Way, Murrieta, CA 92562) from 6:15-8:15pm for a POOL DAY! Students should come in a modest swimsuit & bring a towel, Bible, notebook, and pen.
This summer, we will be going through “Summertime Psalms” on Wednesday Nights and Sunday Mornings! A rotation of our incredible guy staff will teach through select Psalms. Can’t wait!
MARK SUMMER CHALLENGE 📖📆
I am so encouraged by the number of students participating in the Mark Summer Challenge! Thank you for encouraging them to do it each day. My prayer is that the challenge will help our students grow in their discipline/habit of reading God’s Word each day and that His Word will transform our hearts this summer!
It’s not too late to join the challenge if your student hasn’t already! Everything can be found on fbcyouth.net/risemedia.
SUMMER CAMP 2.0
Students should start making efforts to invite as many new friends and neighbors as possible to Summer Camp 2.0 (better name coming soon?). A separate email will be sent out soon with all the details, but in general, it will be a “day camp” from July 27-29. This means you will drop your students off with us in the afternoon - we will play camp-style competition games, eat dinner, have a night session, then end with small groups - and then your student will go home and return the next afternoon. It will be local, super fun, and a great opportunity to reach many students in our valley.
Students should form teams of 8-10 with as many new visitors as possible!
Praying for a great night tomorrow at the Castellon’s!
In Him,
Terrell

MARK SUMMER CHALLENGE
Last Week
Our first pool night for youth was a huge success! We had so many students come and a majority of them were in the pool the whole time. They had a blast going down the slide and playing King of the Hill on the pool step. We then got to hear a short message from Nolan out of Psalm 16 and then just hung out until the last parent came. We can’t wait for another fun Wednesday tomorrow!
