[RISE Weekly] Youth & Camp This Week! š„
Join us TONIGHT from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Behnans, then join us this Fri-Sat for Man & Woman Camp!
Dear Parents,
Itās going to be a fun week with YOUTH tonight and MAN & WOMAN CAMP this Friday āSaturday! I hope your student can join us for both as we seek to lead them closer to Christ through the teaching of His Word!
YOUTH TONIGHT @ THE BEHNANāS!
Join us TONIGHT (10/4), from 6:30ā8:30 PM at the Behnan Home (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta, CA 92562). Our own Nolan Clanton will be preaching tonight! He is a leader over the 6th grade boys and is part of our Training Center. Hereās what heās teaching on:
Weāll be diving into Philippians 3:7-8 to learn how āThe World is Worthless, Christ is worth everything, so live for Him.ā Weāll see how Paul sees the world and how all it can give is loss and rubbish. The students will learn how everything that we place our trust in is absolutely worthless in comparison to Jesus. Weāll also see how Paul sees Christ as more valuable than anything, so we should want to know Christ and live for Him ā weāll talk about how students can do this in their everyday lives.
MAN & WOMAN CAMP! š¹šŗ
Join us for a 2-day, 1-night local camp focused on teaching our students about biblical manhood and womanhood! What should Jr Higherās do NOW to grow to become Godly Men and Women? Weāll also have a ton of FUN playing games and just hanging out with each other for the weekend!Ā
Man & Woman Camp are BOTH from 10/13 (6pm) ā 10/14 (7pm) and are BOTH just $30!
The MEN will be camping in Dripping Springs Campground.
The WOMEN will be at the Coyle Home (34821 Carina Place,Ā Murrieta).
With a very CONFUSED and decaying culture around us, students cannot miss out on this important weekend! Sign-up now using the button below!
An email was sent today with all the information you need for this weekend including a packing list! You can read it here:
TRUNK OR TREAT šš
On October 28th, we have our annual TRUNK OR TREAT! This is one of our favorite Fall events as it gets students, parents, and staff from both JH & HS all together!Ā
YOU PARENTS make this event happen by hosting a trunk. We need you to decorate your carās trunk according to a fun theme of your choice (Marvel, Star Wars, Reformation, etc.) and design a fun challenge (ring toss, trivia, etc.) for students to accomplish. Upon completion of your station, you reward the students with candy.Ā
This year we will be hosting the event on our FBC Church Property from 6-8 PM. However, if you host a trunk we ask that youād arrive by 5 PM.Ā
Those of you who would like to host a trunk, please CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW to fill out a quick form!
If you canāt host a trunk but would like to serve, we have need for candy donations, decor set up and tear down. If you can fill those needs, please email me at terrell@faith-bible.net
TABLE TALK THIS SUNDAY! š
It has been SO SWEET to watch our students search for verses on their own and share what they learned in order to answer some very important questions! With this new teaching method, we are trying to teach students how to study their Bibles and give them confidence that they can find answers on their own through Scripture!
Here is what weāre covering this Sunday:
Question: Is there any way to escape punishment and be brought back into Godās favor?
Answer: Yes, to satisfy his justice, God himself, out of mere mercy, reconciles us to himself and delivers us from sin and from the punishment for sin, by a Redeemer.
Main Passage: Isaiah 53:10ā11
See you TONIGHT!
In Him,
Terrell
Last Week
Each week is such a joy as we walk through life alongside your students. We also were blessed to hear some budding musicians in our ministry! Terrell ended the series on the tongue, and it was sweet to see hear what a transformed tongue actually sounds like! Someone with a transformed tongue will pray constantly, proclaim Christ to others, possesses credibility, and purifies conversation.
