[RISE Weekly] Youth @ Rival Tomorrow! ☕️
Youth at RIVAL tomorrow from 6:30–8:30 PM. Mystery Night is coming…
Dear Parents,
By God’s grace I have returned from our Nashville trip despite the slight temptations to stay there forever… I’m excited to be back with your students this week as we start two NEW SERMON SERIES’ – both for Wednesdays and Sundays!
YOUTH @ RIVAL TOMORROW! ☕️
Join us TOMORROW NIGHT (2/29), from 6:30–8:30 PM at RIVAL COFFEE (24865 Hospitality Pl Bldg E, Murrieta, CA 92562) as we escape the potential rain and low temp! We’re going to have a BLAST with games, a new sermon series, and students can buy drinks to warm up!
This Wednesday, we begin a new series called “BIG QUESTIONS” where we ask some tough, and often hard to explain, questions that must be answered by Scripture. These are questions that we think would be helpful for your students to know the answers to for their own sanctification and in order to better know who God is and why we encounter certain things here on earth.
First up, I will open up with what is commonly referred to as “the problem of evil.” If God is sovereign, good, and righteous, why is there evil and suffering in the world? This is a tough question but worthy of consideration because it forces us to really understand who God is! He is sovereign and works all things for His glory and for our good. Scripture will help us to understand this. Can’t wait!
NEW SERIES THIS SUNDAY 🙏
We’re also starting a new series this SUNDAY (3/5) on PRAYER! Prayer is such a necessary element of the Christian life but unfortunately many students struggle to understand what it is and how we ought to do it. So, we will have the Psalms teach us how to pray in Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Would you lead by example with us and begin to PRAY for this series & for the hearts of our students? Super excited for this ACTS Prayer series through the Psalms!
See you tomorrow night at RIVAL COFFEE!
In Him,
Terrell
P.S. MYSTERY NIGHT is coming quick… March 31st! Your students will not want to miss this super fun event. It is a MASSIVE scavenger hunt/car rally all throughout Murrieta where students form teams and hunt down stations for points. 3/31. 6–9 PM. Thompson Middle School. Don’t miss it!

Last Week
The fun side of the students came out last week. We had no idea so many kids loved to dance! We had so much fun dancing along to the cupid shuffle and Just Dance videos. The kids ate their fill of snacks and soda and enjoyed making many great memories with their fellow students and leaders. We ended the night hearing the BEST good news on planet earth: the Gospel! Our biggest desire amidst all the fun is that these kids come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
