Dear Parents,
It was such a joy to welcome our new 6th-grade students and parents last week! Thank you to all the parents who attended our 6th-grade dinner! I pray it was a help and encouragement to you. We feel so privileged to come alongside you in leading your students to Christ and we are EXCITED to start this new year in Jr High Ministry!

Join us TONIGHT (5/29) at the Behnan Home (36750 Robin Scott St, Murrieta) from 6:30–8:30 PM as we continue in our study of THE GOSPEL!
Tonight, our very own senior staff Jesse Martinez will continue our study of the gospel by considering: Who is man? After learning last week who God is, we left off realizing that God requires man to be PERFECT (Matthew 5:48, James 2:10). Tonight, we will see through Scripture that Man is the complete opposite. Man has broken God’s law (Rom 3:10,23). Man will pay the eternal penalty for sin (Rom 6:23). Man cannot save himself by his good works (Titus 3:5). Tonight will be heavy, but it is necessary to explain the bad news before we get to the good news of Jesus Christ!
We want to encourage our students to MEMORIZE the most essential points of the gospel and the main verses that support each point. So, students will win an exclusive RISE STICKER if they memorize ALL the headings and verse references (Gen 1:1, Psalm 24:1, etc.) from the following gospel tract that we will be going through by the end of our series on June 12:

DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT 6/8 ☄️
Join us on June 8th from 6-8 PM in the Murrieta Valley High School Football Stadium for our annual DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT! This is an outreach event for all Jr High and High School students where the gospel will be preached and we will make a huge effort to invite new visitors to summer camp! Join us and invite new Jr High friends and family!

RISE REWIND ⏮️
What a fun Wednesday it was last week! We shared a delicious meal with the incoming 6th-grade parents and students as we laid out the details of what this ministry is all about. Then all of the students played a new game of shooting water into buckets that staff leaders were holding, but the leaders got soaked! It was fun to watch the kids dance and mingle between their turns to fill the bucket. Then we headed back to the seats and Mason and Kai led us in worship. Terrell came up after that and started a new series on the Gospel, and the students were challenged to memorize the Gospel within the next few weeks to win an exclusive RISE sticker. Small groups finished the night!

Sunday Morning Details
We meet every Sunday morning during the first service from 8:00 - 9:15 AM.

In order to get to where we meet on Sundays, walk towards the upper quad of campus past Children’s Ministry. You will see our large group gathered at the far end! Or, you can always ask one of our friendly ushers or greeters where Jr. High Ministry meets and they will show you.
