Dear Parents,
I am so thrilled to welcome your student to Summer Camp 2025! We are going to have a blast. I am praying that the Lord will work mightily in the heart of your student(s) this year at camp. Our MAD (Moms and Dads) Crew is working on final details, our staff is praying and preparing for a week full of discipleship, Josh Petras is prepping to preach the Word of God for us, and Patrick Levis is finalizing songs. All hands on deck getting ready for an INCREDIBLE week! Let's go!

NO PHONE POLICY:
In an effort to protect our students from the dangers of technology and the internet, I am asking students to NOT bring their cell phones or any other device to camp. If you would like them to bring their phone in order to communicate with you periodically, we will collect their phones at check-in and keep them charged and safe with us for the weekend (please provide their phone charger if you would like to do this). If they ever need to use it to contact you, they can simply ask any of our staff. Also, they can just use any staff's phone to contact you. You can contact me at any point if you have any questions or concerns (contact info at the bottom of this email). My heart is only to protect our students and eliminate any distractions for the weekend.
The best way to see what’s going on at camp each day is by following along on our Instagram accounts! High School: @doxafbc and Jr High: @rise_fbc
FOOD / LODGING / SHOWER INFO:
Our amazing FOOD CREW has worked so hard to plan and prep our meals for the week! (Please give a huge THANK YOU to Tracy Farrell, Brynn Pennock, Disa, and David Dearie) The food is going to be delicious and your student will never go hungry. There will always be water available to them (PLEASE BRING REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE) and we will even have snacks available to them throughout the day. If your student has any food allergies, our staff will be aware of it if you indicate it during registration. This also applies to all other allergies or medicine needs - we have a complete list of it all and will dedicate the week to making sure your student is safe. There will also be a snack shack and coffee shop during free time!
Students will sleep in cabins or tents with other students. Girls with girls and boys with boys. Since this campsite only has a limited amount of cabins (they are building more each year!), girls will get the priority of sleeping in cabins, then guys if there are any cabins left. Most guys will sleep in tents (real camping 🙌). Staff will be spread out amongst the cabins and tents to make sure students are safe and accounted for. If your students would like to shower (boys sometimes don't - gross but true), we recommend that they bring flip-flops. Cabin and tent assignments will be provided at check-in. Please no special requests - we will group students according to their grade/gender.
TALENT SHOW:
We will have a Summer Camp Talent Show on Wednesday (6/25)! If your students would like to participate, they can sign up at camp. All instruments/equipment desired for the talent show must be brought by the student – unfortunately, we cannot have students use our band’s instruments.
NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP FRIENDS!
Please make every last effort to invite high school and jr high friends, family, and neighbors! We want to reach as many students with the gospel as possible. Do not let money be an issue for them, we still have scholarships available. If you or a friend needs financial assistance, please email me (terrell@faith-bible.net). We will keep sign-ups open until the day before camp.
CAMP REWIND (7/2):
On Wednesday Night, July 2, we will host our CAMP REWIND (6:30–8:30 PM) in the FBC Worship Center where we will reflect on all the Lord did at our JH & HS Summer Camp. We will gather for a time of worship, special testimonies, and recap videos! Hope you can join us! All students, parents, and the entire church family are welcome to join us!
This was a long email. But hopefully helpful for you. Please let me know if you have any further questions. I am SO excited for Summer Camp!
In Him,
